Ingredients
7 tablespoons butter, room temperature
½ cup white sugar
1¼ cups all‑purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract or powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons honey or 2 tablespoons golden syrup
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C)
2. Cream butter and sugar, stir in vanilla
3. Mix in honey or syrup
4. Fold in flour mixture
5. Drop tablespoon‑sized dough on sheet
6. Bake 10–12 mins, cool
Notes
Don’t over‑bake; cookies firm as they cool.
Chill dough if too soft.
