Description
Fudgy Black Forest Brownies made with rich cocoa, juicy cherries, and dark chocolate chips. Inspired by classic Black Forest cake in an easy brownie form.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 large eggs
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup canned cherries, drained
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan.
2. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
3. Whisk eggs, melted butter, and vanilla in separate bowl.
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
5. Fold in cherries and chocolate chips.
6. Spread into pan and bake 25–30 minutes.
7. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Pat cherries dry before adding.
Do not overbake for fudgy texture.
Store in airtight container.
