A soft, fragrant fig and orange cake packed with juicy figs, zesty orange flavor, and warm cinnamon. Easy, elegant, and perfect for brunch or dessert.
Ingredients
4 ripe figs, chopped
180g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
115g unsalted butter
150g sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Zest of 1 orange
60ml orange juice
60ml milk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line pan.

Mix flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, and salt.

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, and orange zest.

Alternate mixing in dry ingredients with orange juice and milk.

Fold in figs. Pour into pan.

Bake 35–45 mins. Cool before slicing.
Notes
Use ripe figs for best texture. Add fig slices or nuts on top before baking for extra flair.
