Description
These Cornflake Slices are a no-bake Aussie classic—crunchy, chewy, and irresistibly easy to make! Perfect for lunchboxes, bake sales, or a quick sweet treat.
Ingredients
200 g cornflakes, lightly crushed
80 g desiccated coconut
100 g unsalted butter, melted
200 g sweetened condensed milk
100 g dark or milk chocolate, chopped (optional)
1 tsp coconut oil (optional)
Instructions
1. Line a 20 cm × 20 cm tin with baking paper.
2. Mix cornflakes and coconut in a large bowl.
3. Melt butter and stir in condensed milk until smooth.
4. Pour over dry ingredients and mix until combined.
5. Press into tin firmly.
6. Melt chocolate with coconut oil, pour over base, smooth out.
7. Chill for 2 hours before slicing.
Notes
Store in fridge for up to 1 week.
Can be frozen for 2 months.
