Description
Chewy Condensed Milk ANZAC Biscuit Slab made with oats, coconut and golden syrup.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup plain flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup desiccated coconut
125g butter
1/4 cup golden syrup
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp boiling water
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking pan
2. Mix oats flour brown sugar and coconut in bowl
3. Melt butter golden syrup and condensed milk
4. Mix baking soda with boiling water then add to butter mixture
5. Combine wet and dry ingredients
6. Press mixture into baking pan
7. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden
8. Cool completely and slice
Notes
Press mixture firmly into pan
Allow slab to cool fully before slicing
Store in airtight container
