Description

These cinnamon roll protein scones are soft, swirled with cinnamon sugar, and pack 12g of protein per serving. A healthy breakfast that tastes indulgent.


Ingredients

Scale

1½ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup vanilla protein powder

¼ cup sugar

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ cup Greek yogurt

1 large egg

¼ cup milk

3 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

Cinnamon Swirl:

3 tbsp brown sugar

1½ tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp melted butter


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Mix dry ingredients.

3. Mix wet ingredients.

4. Combine into dough.

5. Roll out, add cinnamon filling, and shape.

6. Cut into wedges and bake 18–22 minutes.

Notes

Do not overmix dough.

Glaze optional.

Store or freeze leftovers.
