Description
Rich and fudgy chocolate brownies with a crackly top and deep cocoa flavor. Perfect for any chocolate craving.
Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 pan.
2. Melt butter and whisk with sugar.
3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
5. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
6. Bake 20–25 minutes until set on edges.
7. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Do not overbake.
Cool fully for clean slices.
