This moist and decadent Chia Seed Chocolate Cake is flourless, gluten-free, and packed with rich cocoa flavor. Made with chia seeds for binding and texture, it’s a healthier indulgence you’ll love.
Ingredients
2 tbsp chia seeds + 6 tbsp water (chia “egg”)
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup almond flour or ground oats
¼ cup maple syrup or honey
¼ cup Greek yogurt or mashed banana
2 large eggs (or flax eggs for eggless)
¼ cup melted coconut oil or olive oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
Instructions
1. Mix chia seeds with water and set aside for 10 minutes.
2. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment.
3. Whisk chia gel, eggs, sweetener, yogurt, oil, and vanilla in a bowl.
4. In another bowl, sift cocoa, almond flour, baking soda, and salt.
5. Fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
6. Bake for 22–25 minutes or until toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
7. Cool completely before slicing.

Let chia gel fully hydrate for best texture. Use quality cocoa for richest flavor.
