Description

This easy cheddar cheese quick bread is loaded with sharp cheddar and garlic flavor. No yeast, no fuss—just mix, bake, and enjoy!


Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1½ teaspoons garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1 large egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease loaf pan.

  • In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, salt.

  • Stir in shredded cheddar.

  • In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter.

  • Combine wet with dry. Mix until just combined.

  • Pour into loaf pan. Bake 40–45 mins until golden.

  • Cool 10 mins in pan, then transfer to rack.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for best melt. Do not overmix. Customize with herbs, hot sauce, or swap cheese types.
