Description
This Chai Tea Tres Leches Cake is a cozy twist on the classic. Ultra moist sponge soaked in spiced chai milk and topped with whipped cream.
Ingredients
5 eggs separated
¾ cup sugar
1 cup flour
Pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup whole milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
2 chai tea bags
½ tsp cinnamon
1 ½ cups heavy cream
3 tbsp powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat oven.
2. Beat yolks and sugar.
3. Whip egg whites.
4. Fold and bake.
5. Steep chai in milk.
6. Combine milks and cinnamon.
7. Poke cake and soak.
8. Chill 4 hours.
9. Whip cream and top.
Notes
Chill overnight for best flavor.
Use full-fat dairy.
Dust with cinnamon before serving.
