This moist Banana Oatmeal Yogurt Cake is a healthy and naturally sweetened treat, made with Greek yogurt, oats, bananas, and a touch of cinnamon for the perfect breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
2 ripe bananas, mashed
2 large eggs
β cup maple syrup or honey
Β½ cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1Β½ cups rolled oats
ΒΌ cup oat flour or almond flour
Β½ tsp baking powder
ΒΌ tsp baking soda
ΒΌ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
ΒΌ cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350Β°F. Line an 8Γ8 or 9Γ5 pan.
Mash bananas, whisk in eggs, syrup, yogurt, and vanilla.
Mix oats, oat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon separately.
Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake 25β30 minutes. Cool before slicing.
Notes
