- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!
