  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the banana until smooth.
  • Stir in the sugar and melted butter until well combined.
  • Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, then mix until just combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn lightly golden.

  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For added texture, mix in chocolate chips, nuts, or a dash of cinnamon.
  • These cookies are naturally soft, but if you prefer them slightly firmer, bake for an extra 1-2 minutes.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
