Description

This Apple Pie Cinnamon Roll Casserole combines gooey cinnamon rolls with warm apple pie filling for the ultimate fall breakfast or brunch! It’s cozy, sweet, and ready in just 30 minutes — perfect for holidays or lazy weekends.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon unsalted butter (melted)

¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Pinch of salt

Drizzle icing from cinnamon roll cans (for topping)

Optional: Caramel sauce or powdered sugar for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.

2. Open the cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing for later. Cut each roll into quarters and place them evenly in the baking dish.

3. In a medium bowl, mix the apple pie filling with cinnamon, vanilla, and melted butter.

4. Spoon the apple mixture evenly over the chopped cinnamon rolls.

5. Gently toss to combine so every piece gets a little apple goodness.

6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.

7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes.

8. Drizzle the reserved icing over the warm casserole (and optional caramel sauce if desired).

9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can prep this casserole the night before! Assemble it in the baking dish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. Bake in the morning for a fresh, hot breakfast.

If you prefer a less sweet version, use low-sugar apple pie filling or make your own from fresh apples.

Add a handful of chopped pecans for extra crunch, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert-style decadence!
