Description
Gluten-free apple oatmeal cake made with wholesome oats, fresh apples, and warm cinnamon — perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
2 medium apples, diced
2 large eggs
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup maple syrup or honey
½ cup almond milk
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare an 8×8 pan.
2. Blend oats into oat flour.
3. Whisk wet ingredients together.
4. Mix in dry ingredients.
5. Fold in apples.
6. Bake 35–40 minutes until set.
7. Cool before slicing.
