Description

These Almond Flour Scones are naturally gluten-free, subtly sweet, and perfectly tender. Made with just 6 ingredients and no refined sugar, they’re a quick and wholesome breakfast or snack that feels indulgent yet nourishing.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a medium bowl, whisk egg, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract.

  • Add almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until a soft dough forms.

  • Drop by large spoonfuls or shape into a round disk and cut into 8 wedges.

  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden at the edges.

  • Cool for 5 minutes on the pan, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Use superfine almond flour for best texture

  • Optional: Add 1/4 cup chopped fruit, chocolate chips, or nuts

  • Store in an airtight container at room temp or in the fridge

  • Freeze for up to 2 months and reheat as needed
