These 30-Minute Garlic Parmesan Dinner Rolls are soft, fluffy, and bursting with buttery, garlicky goodness. They’re incredibly easy to make, requiring just a handful of simple ingredients and minimal prep time. Whether you need a quick side for dinner or a delicious snack, these rolls will be ready in no time. Brushed with a savory garlic parmesan butter while warm, they’re absolutely irresistible!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1¼ cups warm water (95-105°F)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. yeast (instant or platinum works great)
  • ⅓ cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. granulated garlic
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese (shredded or grated)

  • 2 tsp. parsley

Instructions

  • Activate the Yeast – In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Mix the Dough – Stir in canola oil, salt, and egg. Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Shape the Rolls – Divide the dough into 12-15 equal pieces and roll into smooth balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Let Them Rise – Cover loosely with a kitchen towel and let rise for 10 minutes.
  • Bake – Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  • Prepare Garlic Parmesan Butter – While baking, mix melted butter with granulated garlic, parmesan cheese, and parsley.

  • Brush & Serve – Once out of the oven, generously brush rolls with garlic parmesan butter. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Dough too sticky? Add a tablespoon of flour at a time until it’s easy to handle.
  • For extra golden rolls, brush them with an egg wash before baking.
  • Make ahead tip – Shape the dough balls and refrigerate overnight; let them rest at room temp for 15 minutes before baking.
  • Freeze leftovers – Store in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months and reheat in the oven at 325°F for a few minutes.
