Description
This sweet condensed milk bread is soft, buttery, and slightly sweet—perfect for toast, gifting, or an afternoon treat. No mixer needed!
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup sugar
1 packet (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast
½ cup warm water
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup whole milk
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
½ tsp salt
1 egg (optional)
Instructions

Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Add condensed milk, milk, butter, salt, and egg. Mix well.

Gradually stir in flour to form a soft dough.

Knead 8–10 minutes until smooth.

Let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.

Punch down, shape into loaf, and rise 30–45 minutes.

Bake at 350°F for 30–35 minutes.

Cool before slicing.
Notes
Use egg for a richer dough or shiny crust. Brush with butter after baking for extra softness. Freezes well sliced.
