Description
This moist banana bread is swirled with cinnamon-sugar for a snickerdoodle twist. A soft, flavorful quick bread with cozy cookie vibes and minimal effort!
Ingredients
Banana Bread: 2–3 bananas, ½ cup butter, ¾ cup sugar, ¼ cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 1½ cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, ½ cup sour cream or yogurt
Swirl: ⅓ cup sugar, 1 tbsp cinnamon
Topping: Optional extra cinnamon-sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 175°C. Mash bananas and mix with butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk dry ingredients. Combine with wet and stir in sour cream. Pour half into loaf pan. Sprinkle swirl mix. Add rest of batter and swirl lightly. Bake 50–60 mins. Cool before slicing.
Notes
Use ripe bananas. Greek yogurt or sour cream keeps it moist. Add chopped pecans or walnuts if desired.
