Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare donut pan.
2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
3. Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
4. Stir wet into dry until just combined.
5. Spoon batter into pan or shape and cut donuts.
6. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden.
7. Cool slightly then glaze.
8. Whisk glaze ingredients; dip donuts.
9. Allow glaze to set before serving.
