- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf or cake pan
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt
- Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs and vanilla
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk
- Divide batter, mix cocoa powder into half
- Layer batters in pan, swirl with a knife
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, then cool before serving
