  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

For the French Silk Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 4 oz semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

For the Whipped Cream Topping:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • Chocolate shavings or curls (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

  • Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in granulated and brown sugar.

  • Whisk in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.

  • In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir into butter mixture until just combined.

  • Fold in chocolate chips, spread into pan, and bake for 25–30 minutes. Let cool completely.

  • For the silk layer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, melted chocolate, and vanilla.

  • Whip cream to stiff peaks and fold into chocolate mixture. Spread over cooled brownies.

  • Whip additional cream with powdered sugar for topping. Spread over silk layer.

  • Garnish with chocolate curls. Chill for 2+ hours before slicing and serving.
