Ingredients
For the Brownie Base:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into cubes

1 cup packed light brown sugar

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

For the French Silk Layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

4 oz semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream
For the Whipped Cream Topping:

1 cup heavy whipping cream

¼ cup powdered sugar

Chocolate shavings or curls (for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in granulated and brown sugar.

Whisk in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.

In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir into butter mixture until just combined.

Fold in chocolate chips, spread into pan, and bake for 25–30 minutes. Let cool completely.

For the silk layer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, melted chocolate, and vanilla.

Whip cream to stiff peaks and fold into chocolate mixture. Spread over cooled brownies.

Whip additional cream with powdered sugar for topping. Spread over silk layer.

Garnish with chocolate curls. Chill for 2+ hours before slicing and serving.
