These Cream Cheese Brownies are rich, fudgy, and swirled with tangy cream cheese for the ultimate dessert bar experience.
Ingredients
Brownie Batter:
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder
Cream Cheese Swirl:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
2. In a bowl, mix butter and sugar until glossy. Add eggs and vanilla.
3. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until smooth.
4. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
5. Spread brownie batter into the pan. Drop cream cheese mix on top and swirl.
6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
7. Cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother swirls.
Chill before cutting for clean edges.
Add chocolate chips or walnuts for extra texture.
