Ingredients

6 cups cubed cinnamon raisin bread

2 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

4 large eggs

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp ground nutmeg

½ cup raisins
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9×13 dish.

Place bread cubes in dish.

Whisk eggs, sugars, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Pour over bread. Let soak 10–15 min.

Add raisins and gently mix.

Bake for 45 min until golden and set.

Cool 10 min. Serve warm or chilled.
Notes
Use day-old bread for best results. Top with caramel or ice cream for a richer treat. Freeze leftovers up to 2 months.
