This Carrot Date and Walnut Loaf is moist, warmly spiced, and naturally sweetened with carrots and dates—perfect for breakfast, snacks, or afternoon tea.
Ingredients

1½ cups self-raising flour

1 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp nutmeg

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup grated carrot

½ cup pitted dates, chopped

½ cup walnuts, chopped

2 eggs

½ cup vegetable oil

¼ cup milk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line loaf pan.

Whisk flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar. Stir in carrot, dates, walnuts.

Whisk eggs, oil, and milk. Fold into dry ingredients.

Pour into pan and bake 45–50 minutes. Cool before slicing.
Notes
