Ingredients
Cake:

200g all-purpose flour

120g butter

100g brown sugar

120ml milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Glaze:

100g honey

2 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp lemon zes
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line and grease a 9-inch pan.

Whisk flour, almonds, baking powder, soda, salt, and spices.

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla.

Fold in dry ingredients, carrots, and dates.

Bake 35–40 minutes.
