Description

These Butter Pecan Cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with toasty pecans and buttery brown sugar flavor. Perfect for fall, holidays, or any cookie craving.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets.

  • Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.

  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.

  • Mix flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

  • Add dry ingredients to wet. Stir in pecans.

  • Scoop onto baking sheet.

  • Bake 10–12 minutes until golden.

 

  • Cool 5 mins, transfer to rack.

Notes

Toast pecans for extra flavor. Slightly underbake for gooey centers. Freeze dough for future cookies.
