Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

½ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 cup chopped pecans

½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets.

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.

Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Mix flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Add dry ingredients to wet. Stir in pecans.

Scoop onto baking sheet.

Bake 10–12 minutes until golden.

Cool 5 mins, transfer to rack.
Notes
Toast pecans for extra flavor. Slightly underbake for gooey centers. Freeze dough for future cookies.
