This Banana Nut Bread is golden, moist, and filled with sweet banana flavor and crunchy walnuts. A comforting, one-bowl recipe that’s perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a cozy snack any day of the week!
Ingredients

2 to 3 ripe bananas, mashed

½ cup melted butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg, beaten

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking soda

Pinch of salt

1½ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×4 or 9×5 loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mash the bananas.

Stir in melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.

Mix in baking soda and salt. Add flour and stir until just combined.

Fold in chopped nuts if using.

Pour batter into pan and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
