Description
Soft, sweet Amish Cinnamon Bread with swirl—no yeast and easy to make, perfect for cozy mornings.
Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 cups buttermilk
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar (for swirl)
2–3 Tbsp ground cinnamon
¼ cup melted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare loaf pans.
2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time.
4. Stir in buttermilk until smooth.
5. Add flour and mix until just combined.
6. Mix swirl sugar, cinnamon, and butter separately.
7. Layer half batter, swirl mix, remaining batter in pans, then swirl.
8. Bake 50–60 minutes until a toothpick is clean.
9. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then on rack.
Notes
Room-temperature ingredients help.
Do not overmix the batter.
Ensure swirl sugar is moist to stay visible.
